Ride the Flume Trail from Spooner Lake State Park and take our shuttle back to your car. Or take our shuttle from Spooner Lake State Park to the Tahoe Rim Trail at Tahoe Meadows and ride the Tahoe Rim Trail back to Spooner Lake State Park or to the end of The Flume Trail and take our shuttle back to your car at Spooner Lake.

KONA MOUNTAIN BIKE RENTALS

We offer a ranger of Kona Mountain Bikes. Full Suspension, Hard-Tails, 29’ers, 27.5” wheels and kid’s Kona’s are all available for rent at Spooner Lake State Park. All rentals include a free shuttle, water bottle, helmet, and air pump to use. Bike reservations are recommended.

BIKE SHUTTLE SERVICE

If you have your own bike, the shuttle back to Spooner Lake State Park and your car is only $10. The shuttle departs the end of the Flume Trail on the hour from 11am until 5pm daily. Reservations are not required, but they are recommended.

SPOONER LAKE STATE PARK

At this spectacular 14,301-acre Nevada State Park. Your two wheels can also take you to Marlette and Spooner Lakes. Located on NV State Hwy 28, just off of Highway 50 east at Glenbrook, the park showcases amazing Tahoe panoramas and offers something for everyone–picnic benches, scenic trails ranging from family-friendly to skilled back country hiking. 8:30am–5pm daily

EXPLORE SPOONER LAKE Backcountry Cabins

Wake up to the serene wilderness on your backcountry adventure within this breathtaking Nevada State Park overlooking Spooner Lake or Lake Tahoe. Savor the scenery and seclusion, accessible by hiking or mountain biking only.

SPOONER LAKE CABIN

About a half-mile from the Park entrance, this cabin sits above Spooner Lake’s north shore. The Spooner Lake Cabin sleeps up to 6 on a queen size mattress in the loft, a pull out double futon downstairs and a couple of strategically placed foam pads for two more adults or Kids.

WILDCAT CABIN

The Cabin is located high above the surrounding hills about two miles from the trailhead. Here you will have a stunning view of Lake Tahoe from the cabin’s well placed deck. The cabin is equipped with a queen mattress in the loft and a futon downstairs. The cabin sleeps up to 4.

RUSTIC COMFORT

The cabins are furnished and they are off the grid for your backcountry experience. Drinking Water, Woodstove, Firewood, Propane Cooktop, and Linens are provided for your stay.
